Lace up for the 6th Annual Winnie's Way 5K Rescue Run happening Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Arthur Ray Teague Boat Launch in Bossier City, with the main 5K starting at 8:00 a.m. and a half-mile kids fun run at 7:45 a.m. Registration is $25 if you sign up before August 20th, $30 through August 28th, or $35 on race day, and every dollar goes to Winnie's Wish to support rescue dogs with special needs. You'll run an out-and-back route on the ART Bike Path and can celebrate afterward with refreshments, awards, and the chance to meet adorable adoptable pets from local animal rescues!
