Head to the LSUS campus in Shreveport on June 6th at 8:00 a.m. to participate in this fundraiser supporting the Look in the Mirror Foundation, which honors Samuel Walker Lees' legacy by sharing his story with young people to encourage positive choices. Register by May 1st to take advantage of early pricing ($20, compared to $25 pre-race or $30 on race day), and all registered participants get a t-shirt and can pick up their packet at Sportspectrum or at race morning check-in starting at 7 a.m. After crossing the finish line, stick around for food, music, and an awards ceremony featuring $200 gift cards for top overall finishers and age-group trophies—just note that strollers are welcome but should line up at the back of the starting group.
