Join the 10th annual celebration of this trail race at Swope Park in Kansas City on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 (with a rain date of August 8th). You can choose between an 11K run starting at 7:30 AM or a 5K walk/run beginning at 8 AM, with packet pickup available Friday from 10 AM–4 PM at Lakeside Nature Center or race morning at Lake Lodge starting at 7:45 AM. This year features a dedicated 10K loop rather than a repeated 5K route, and trail modifications have made the course slightly longer than before.
