Head to New Milford Parks & Recreation on Pickett District Road to sign up for this fun community race, with registration opening July 20 for $40 (you can also register race day until 8:10 a.m. on July 25). The event welcomes runners, walkers, and even dogs, features water stops along the courses, and concludes with a celebration at the Town Green bandstand—plus the first 300 registered participants get guaranteed t-shirts and monetary awards are mailed to winners. Don't forget about the 4th Annual Kids Run the Green, a ¼-mile course for kids 8 and under that takes place after the main races, where participants receive a t-shirt for just a $5 registration fee.
