# Beat Beethoven 5K

Ready for a unique running challenge? Race against Beethoven's 5th Symphony in Minot and try to finish the 5K in approximately 32 minutes—if you cross the finish line before the final note plays, you'll "Beat Beethoven" and earn a free MSO concert ticket for the 2026-27 season, while all other finishers receive a $5 discount voucher. The event takes place at Oak Park with registration from 4:00-5:15 PM, race start at 5:35 PM, and includes a T-shirt with early registration (through June 16th), plus a family-friendly concert by Risha Bergstrom at 4 PM to get everyone in the spirit.
