This is the third event in the Epic Orthodontics Kids Triathlon Series, hosted at Cansler YMCA in Knoxville, TN, and features three divisions to match different skill levels. The Sailfish Marlins division welcomes younger swimmers who need support like water wings or kickboards, plus training-wheel bikes and a half-mile run, while the Red Marlins (50-yard swim, 1.3-mile bike, half-mile run) and Blue Marlins (75-yard swim, 2.5-mile bike, 1-mile run) offer progressively longer courses for more experienced young athletes. Packet pickup runs from 7am to 9am on race day at the YMCA with designated parking, and while parents can accompany Sailfish participants through transition, they must stay out of the transition area for Red and Blue Marlin divisions.
