Join Lake Area Runners on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 7:00 am in Lake Charles for their hottest race of the year—a 4-mile flat and fast out-and-back celebration along scenic Lakeshore Drive that welcomes both runners and walkers. The race starts and finishes at the bronze "geese taking flight" statue at Louisiana Landing Fountain on the seawall near the Lake Charles Event Center. This is the final event in the Triple Crown Series, so if you've completed the Leprechaun 3 Miler and Contraband 5 Miler, finishing here will earn you a special prize!
