Join us on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. at Newport City Park for a 3.1-mile run/walk honoring Dr. Dennis Branch, a respected African American physician who served Newport, Tennessee for nearly 50 years and gained national recognition on "This Is Your Life" in 1958. The chip-timed event will loop through the park and onto Rankin Road, welcoming runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, with registration beginning at 6:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit the Tennessee Picnic in celebration of Dr. Branch's lasting legacy.
