Personal Best Kids Inc is putting on a summer triathlon in Oak Ridge, TN for young athletes ages 2-14, with three distance options tailored to different skill levels. You can pick the Long Sprint (8:00 am with 100 yard swim/3.0 mile bike/1 mile run), Mid Sprint (8:45 am with 50 yard swim/1.5 mile bike/.5 mile run), or Tadpole Sprint (9:30 am with 25 yard swim/.75 mile bike/.5 mile run), and younger participants get support like water wings and training wheels. All finishers receive a medal, age group winners are recognized in the Long and Mid Sprint divisions, and the course uses a TBA pool for swimming, Fairbanks Road and Jefferson Middle School for biking, and Laboratory Drive for running before finishing at National Fitness Center Parking lot.
