Celebrate Independence Day with the Milton Optimist Club's 44th annual event featuring a 10K run, 5K walk, or 1-mile run option in Milton, Wisconsin—all proceeds support local youth programs and school projects. Pick up your packet on July 4th from 7:00-7:45 am at Milton High School Event Entrance (day-of registration also available for $20), with races starting at 8:00 am for the 10K and 5K, and 8:05 am for the 1-mile run. The 10K takes you out and back on country roads with rolling hills and three water stations, the 5K begins on the same route before branching onto the shaded Ice Age Trail with one water station, and the 1-mile run covers residential streets ending with a steep downhill finish.
