Join the 46th annual Cow Chip Classic Run/Walk this Labor Day weekend in Prairie Du Sac, featuring both a 10K run and a 5K run/walk option hosted by the Sauk Prairie Community Club alongside the Wisconsin State Cow Chip Throw. Both races start at 8:00 a.m. next to Marion Park and cross the Wisconsin River, with the 10K route taking you over the challenging "Heartbreak Hill" past Lake Wisconsin Golf Course before returning to town, while 5K participants follow a shorter route along Golf Road. The event uses chip timing technology attached to your race bib, and all race proceeds support the local community through the Sauk Prairie Community Club.
