Join your fellow runners and walkers in Metairie for this meaningful event that supports the Society of St. Vincent de Paul's mission to help people experiencing poverty in our community! Since launching in 2008, the Friends of the Poor Walk has brought in over $27 million nationwide, with every dollar you help raise going straight to local volunteers doing incredible work right here at home. Last year alone, participants raised nearly $6,500 to support these servant leaders—imagine what we can accomplish together in 2026!
