The NordicTrack C 1650 has an incline range of 0-12% and a speed range of 0-12 MPH. There are 34 programmed workouts included on your machine, so you can choose to focus your workouts on speed, incline, heart rate, weight loss, or fat burn with professionally designed workouts.

Your heart rate is monitored by handlebar pulse grips. So far, it would seem like both of these machines are pretty comparable as far as training features are concerned.

If you are a runner who doesn’t need extra motivation, pretty scenery, or engaging class workouts, then the Sole F 80 may seem more impressive because it has a larger incline capability.

If, however, you are someone who would benefit from support, motivation, nutrition guides, and a community of professional fitness enthusiasts to keep you on track for your goals, you’ll be excited to learn about the iFit enabled features on the NordicTrack C 1650.

nordictrack 1650

These iFit training options really make the NordicTrack C 1650 the more impressive treadmill when it comes to training options.

So, what is iFit and why is it so highly regarded? iFit is a high-tech, multi-faceted personal training experience that will blow your mind. You can take your workout global with Google Maps technology that lets you design running routes around the world.

NordicTrack C 1650 Treadmill

You can also receive daily workout challenges from certified personal trainers that are targeted to your specific fitness goals.

There is an option to live-stream workouts from personal trainers, giving them full control over the incline and speed of your runs so that you have external accountability to keep you on track.

With access to more than 12,000 on-demand, streaming workouts, you’ll have no excuse not to enjoy your workout while reaching your fitness goals. Also, the iFit community is a wonderful resource for sharing routes, nutrition advice, and fitness suggestions.

When you have an iFit membership, it’s like having a personal trainer in your home, helping you smash your goals in a methodical and scientifically-proven way.

With a tablet or smart phone, you can even login to the iFit site online to access streamed workout videos to help you cross train. Maybe you want to add some variety to your routine, and you will be able to do that with this function of the membership.

NordicTrack C 1650 Treadmill

One potential downside to iFit is that it requires an iFit membership and WiFi to take advantage of all the amazing perks it can offer.

The first year of your iFit membership is included with your NordicTrack C 1650 purchase, although it may require a credit card for initial setup. After your first year, you can choose to continue with a monthly membership. Fortunately, the NordicTrack C 1650 treadmill still works if you choose not to include an iFit membership.

Now that you’ve learned about iFit, you probably see the Sole F 80 and NordicTrack C 1650 as two fantastic treadmills, even though they’re in an entirely different class when it comes to training options.

Both machines offer solid basics, though the iFit enabled NordicTrack C 1650 certainly has more training programs and options available when it is paired with an iFit subscription.
