TMC Saguaro National Park Labor Day 8-Miler/5k
Held over Labor Day weekend in Tucson, this classic event—first organized back in 1971 by the Southern Arizona Roadrunners—offers both an 8-mile clockwise loop and a shorter 5k option through stunning Saguaro National Park terrain. Runners enjoy scenic desert views including saguaro cacti, prickly pears, ocotillos, and mountain vistas while tackling rolling hills, plus you'll receive a souvenir shirt, compete for age group and overall awards with prize money, and gain a day pass to explore the park. Post-race festivities and the natural beauty of the Rincon Mountains, Catalina Mountains, and Tucson basin make this a worthwhile challenge for runners of all levels.
