Since its inception in 2011, this annual Bridgeport 5K has served as a tribute to fallen law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. This year's event is expecting more than 1,500 runners, with every dollar raised supporting the Hotsinpiller Foundation's mission to award scholarships to future officers, assist local law enforcement departments, and provide aid to injured officers and their families.
