This unique flat 5k and 1-mile run takes place right on an actual airport runway in Greenville on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, during Memorial Day weekend—dress up in a costume if you'd like and come ready to have fun! You'll experience a meaningful pre-race ceremony honoring fallen veterans led by the Civil Air Patrol, plus the chance to earn awards in various age divisions, with strollers and walkers encouraged to participate (just leave your pets at home).
