Lace up for a scenic 10K loop (or go your own distance!) around Lake Sherwood in Topeka on July 4th at 7 am, starting from the Swim Beach at 6711 SW Sherwood Court—it's a fantastic way to stay active while celebrating Independence Day with fellow runners or friends. Grab your bib ahead of time at the Club House (6910 SW Fountaindale Road) on July 3rd from 4-6 pm or race morning at 6:30 am, then fuel up with coffee and goodies from The Blind Barista before or after you run. Since this is an open, non-closed course, please obey all traffic laws, watch for public traffic, know that you run at your own risk, and stay hydrated at the water stop halfway around the lake!
