Join the Spartanburg community in 2026 for this 5K run/walk dedicated to supporting childhood cancer awareness and research while honoring Akanimo ("Nimo"), who courageously battled a rare childhood cancer. Every participant will receive a t-shirt and finisher's medal, and the event welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities, plus a special Kids Fun Run for younger participants. Your involvement directly supports the Akanimo Cancer Foundation's work in funding research, improving treatment access, assisting families, and spreading awareness—all while showing families affected by childhood cancer that they have community support.
