Join us for the 17th annual Mary E. Smith "Run the Ridge LAKE FRONT" 5K in Chicago on Saturday, June 27, 2026, starting at 8:30 AM along the scenic lakefront ridge (parking accessible off East 39th Street at Oakwood Ave.). Whether you participate as an individual or with a fundraising team, your $40–$55 entry fee supports brain tumor and cancer patients, scholarships, and research, and includes a chipped timed run/walk, t-shirt, and finisher medal. The event runs from 8:00 AM to around 11:30 AM–12:00 PM and features vendor booths, entertainment, an honor and memory ceremony, and family-friendly activities like a balloon release.
