Head to Lake Artemesia in College Park, MD on Sunday, August 9th for the Prince George's Running Club's flat and scenic 5K races—a women's race kicking off at 7:30 am and a men's race following at 8:30 am. The women's event is part of the MD Women's Distance Festival 5K Series and marks the 46th year of this RRCA-sponsored celebration honoring women's participation in distance running. Park at Herbert Wells Ice Rink (5211 Campus Drive), grab a race bib (the first 100 registrants get a guaranteed premium), and compete for awards given to the top 3 overall finishers and top finishers in each 5-year age group.
