Head to Sandpoint City Beach on Friday, August 28th, 2026 for this family-friendly triathlon hosted by Engaged Families Inc., where young athletes can choose between a Mini Sprint or Sprint course featuring swimming in Lake Pend Oreille, biking on the Sandcreek Trail, and running around the Marina and City Beach. The Mini Sprint includes a 100m swim, 3K bike, and 1K run, while the Sprint challenges competitors with a 200m swim, 4.5K bike, and 2K run—and parents can participate as "Athlete Assist" supporters to cheer on the next generation. This is the 4th annual event, offering a scenic mountain lake backdrop perfect for introducing youth to the sport of triathlon.
