Lace up your shoes and head to downtown Owensboro on May 9th for a fun 5K run or walk hosted by the Family YMCA, happening as part of the BBQ & Barrels festival! The race welcomes everyone from serious competitors to casual walkers, with competitive runners starting at 8:00 am and non-competitive participants beginning from the back of the pack. Entry fees are $35 for adults and $20 for kids ages 1-18.
