Get ready to explore Port Angeles on the spectacular Olympic Discovery Trail, where you'll enjoy amazing views of the Olympic Mountains and finish with five miles along the beautiful Strait of Juan de Fuca shoreline. Depending on your distance, you'll experience either a point-to-point route (half marathon, full marathon, relay, and marathon walk) or an out-and-back course (10K, 5K, and Kids Marathon) with opportunities to see seals, eagles, and other wildlife, historic trestle bridges, and possibly spawning salmon at Morse Creek during fall races. You'll run on a wide, paved trail that's 99% smooth with water stations every two miles in typical June weather around 57°F on a USATF-certified, Boston Marathon qualifying course organized by passionate local runners.
