Join RevolutionNJ for a 5K run through New Jersey's Revolutionary War heritage at the historic Monmouth Battlefield on Sunday, August 9th, 2026, with the race starting at 9:30 a.m. (registration opens at 8:30 a.m.). This event is part of the RevolutionNJ Race Series, inspired by Jonas Cattell's famous run to alert American troops during the Revolution, and welcomes runners, walkers, and history enthusiasts of all ages to celebrate fitness and community together. You'll have the chance to participate in one of six races across significant New Jersey Revolutionary sites, including Cedar Bridge Tavern, Red Bank Battlefield, Fort Lee Historic Park, Princeton Battlefield, and Batsto Village.
