Beat the summer heat by joining this nighttime 5K/10K event in Leawood supporting Special Olympics, organized by the Leawood Police Department as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kansas. You'll enjoy a speedy course through Leawood's streets, and all finishers in both distances will earn a custom medal while helping raise funds for the cause. Note that the 10K is run-only with a 1 hour 15 minute cutoff due to road closure limitations, so please only enter that distance if you can meet the time requirement.
