Join runners and walkers for the 2nd Annual McDonough Trail Race on July 18, 2026, at McDonough Wildlife Refuge in Vienna, WV, where you'll tackle a scenic 4-mile loop twice for a total of about 8 miles through beautiful forests and duck marshes with 430 feet of elevation gain per loop. The course features at least 2 hydration stations stocked with water, Tailwind, and pickles to keep you fueled. Awards go to the top 3 finishers overall and in various age groups for both runners and walkers across male and female categories.
