Head to Marcus City Park/Swimming Pool on the east side of the Marcus Fairgrounds to join in on either a 5k or 1-mile run/walk option. Registration opens at 7:00 am with the 5k kicking off at 8:00 am and the 1-mile starting five minutes later—note that the 1-mile event has no divisions or awards, while only the 5k participants are eligible for awards. Sign up early by July 26 for $20, or register July 27 through race day for $25, keeping in mind that race shirts are only guaranteed for pre-registered runners, though extras will be available while supplies last. All participants will enjoy complimentary fruit and water.
