Since 1964, Shore A.C. has hosted this weekly summer series featuring a 1-mile kids run (starting at 6:30 PM) and a 5K race (starting at 6:45 PM) that loop around Lake Takanassee in Long Branch, NJ. The series runs for five Monday nights from July 6 through August 3, with medals awarded to top overall and age group finishers in the 5K, plus top boys and girls in the kids run, and ribbons for all kids participants. Consistent performers throughout the series earn special overall awards, and results are posted within 1-2 days on the Shore A.C. website.
