This special Saturday, May 16th event in Eagle, ID invites you to celebrate our veterans while choosing between a 5K run/walk on the greenbelt or a leisurely 1/4 mile stroll past an awe-inspiring display of over 600 illuminated flags—part of the nation's longest continuously-running Field of Honor. You can personalize your experience by writing a veteran's or active service member's name on your race bib, and afterward, stick around for Coffee with a Vet at Merrill Park. Registration opens at 8am, and the event also welcomes donations of unopened non-perishable food and gift cards to help support the VA Food Bank's assistance programs for local veterans.
