This summer track series takes place Thursday evenings in June at LRU's outdoor track in Hickory, NC, brought to you by Lenoir Rhyne University and Hickory Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism. You'll find competition across all age groups starting at age 5, with events ranging from sprints and distance runs to relays and field events like jumps and throws—plus if you participate in at least 2 of the 4 dates, you'll be eligible for Age Group and Series Awards. Register online before 11am on race day, or stop by for on-site registration from 5:00-6:30 pm (just note there's a $5 fee increase at the gate), and young runners ages 6-18 can also join training sessions coached by Jimmy Fuller at Hickory High School.
