Come out for the 3rd annual Health to Better Living 5K and Fun Run in Effingham, Kansas, held in memory of Jim and Lisa Wilson—your entry fee supports 4H camp scholarships for Atchison County youth. The 5K kicks off Saturday, August 8th, 2026 at 7:00 AM, followed by the one-mile Fun Run at 7:05 AM, with registration ($25 per person) open until July 15th to claim your race day shirt and enter for cash prizes in both events. Pick up your bib and shirt on Thursday, August 6th from 3-5 PM at Effingham Park, with the start and finish line at William and 4th Street.
