Get ready for an incredible 8-mile out-and-back trail run starting at the Quarry Lot near Hahns Peak Village that takes you 4 miles uphill to the stunning 10,839-foot summit, where you'll find a historic fire lookout tower built in 1912 and enjoy 360-degree panoramic views from this former volcano. The final stretch to the top features a challenging talus slope before you turn around and head back down the same route to the finish line. This beloved local race began in 2017 as a Fourth of July tradition among North Routt County runners and is now open to all who want to tackle this epic vertical challenge!
