Head to historic Georgetown, Colorado on July 4th for a beginner-friendly SUP-Athlon that combines a half-mile paddleboard section on a pristine mountain lake, a 5.5-mile bike ride mixing paved roads and dirt trails through town and up Saxon Mountain, and a 5K run finishing at Georgetown Lake. After crossing the finish line, you'll earn a complimentary craft beer at Cabin Creek Brewing and can stick around for Georgetown's renowned Fourth of July parade and BBQ in City Park. The race requires PFDs and bike helmets, and participants can compete for prizes including best race kit gear and a paddleboard drawing.
