Head to downtown Foley, MN on Dewey Street in front of Mille Lacs Veterinary Clinic for a patriotic running celebration featuring a Kid K race at 5:45 p.m. (ages 12 and under) and a 5K starting at 6 p.m. Both events offer speedy, flat pavement courses through town with water and snacks at two stations plus post-race refreshments, and the 5K awards medals to top finishers in 12 age categories with additional prizes for the overall top 3 men and women. Registration opens at 4:45 p.m. with entry fees of $25 (shirts included if registered by June 1st) or $30 for late registration, with results posted on the Falcon National Bank website.
