Get ready to lace up for this afternoon mile race in Des Moines on May 31st, 2026, running concurrent with the Rip the Aves bike races! After picking up your packet at 28th and Ingersoll, you'll head to the High Street starting line and run a challenging course that winds through 24th Street, Ingersoll Avenue, 28th Street, and High Street with both climbing and descending sections before a final sprint finish. The top three male and female finishers will take home prizes ($200 for first, $100 for second, and $50 for third), and you'll have plenty of time to enjoy everything the Ingersoll Avenue area has to offer afterward.
