Lace up for this volunteer-run event held the Saturday before Memorial Day at Pearl's Clyde Muse Center on the Hinds Community College campus, where you can choose between a 5K walk, 5K run, or 10K option, plus there's a fun run for kids. Nearly all proceeds benefit the Emile and Brooke Craig Memorial Run For the Kids and New Day Mississippi, going directly toward school supplies and clothing for children in need through Region 8 Mental Health services in Rankin County. Register by May 15th to score a t-shirt and enjoy post-race food and drinks, and you'll have the chance to earn awards if you place in the top 3 of your 10-year age group.
