Join Elmwood Volunteer Rescue for a 5K run/walk or 1-mile option on Saturday, June 6th at Bess Streeter Aldrich Park in Elmwood, Nebraska, with the 5K starting at 8:30am and the 1-mile beginning at 8am—or participate virtually anytime during June. Registration costs $30 for the 5K or $20 for the 1-mile, with additional donations gladly accepted, and all proceeds support the 18-member volunteer rescue team that provides 24/7 emergency medical services to the Elmwood, Murdock, and Wabash communities. Note: if you register after May 15th, 2026, you'll need to select the shipping option to receive your race t-shirt, and those in the Elmwood/Murdock area should contact elmwoodrescue@gmail.com
