Since 1979, this four-mile charitable run has held the distinction of being Colorado's longest-running fundraising race, with every dollar raised supporting the Colorado Cancer Foundation's vital cancer research and patient care initiatives at CU. The event funds groundbreaking oncology research at the University of Colorado's Division of Medical Oncology while also providing direct assistance to patients at CU Hospital in Aurora. In 2023, runners got to enjoy a newly redesigned route that takes you through the stunning scenery of Eldorado Canyon, following the picturesque South Boulder Creek as it cuts through dramatic cliff formations.
