This event commemorates Detective Michael "Mike" Doty, a dedicated York County law enforcement officer of 12 years who lost his life on January 16, 2018, while responding to a domestic violence situation in York, SC. Mike had an impressive career as a drug enforcement investigator, Narcan program coordinator, SWAT team member, and mentor to local Explorer Post members—and every dollar raised goes directly to Keystone Substance Abuse Services, a York County nonprofit that's been delivering vital education, prevention, and treatment programs for substance abuse issues since 1969.
