Young runners aged 6–14 in the Columbia area can join this competitive cross country team under the Columbia Track Club, which competes in the Central Missouri Athletic Circuit with practices held Monday and Thursday evenings plus Saturday mornings at Stephens Lake Park or Cosmo Park. The season features meets throughout September and October that build toward a championship race, and all participants receive team uniforms after paying a $20 CTC family membership fee. Those interested in taking their running further can try out for the CMAC All Stars post-season team for opportunities to compete at regional and national levels.
