Get ready to kick off Independence Day with the inaugural Firecracker 5K hosted by City of Roma Parks and Recreation on Saturday, July 4th, 2026 at 7:30 AM at Roma Municipal Park—a chip-timed event welcoming runners, walkers, and supporters of all ages and fitness levels. Participants who register by 6/18/26 will receive a t-shirt, finisher medal, and bib, with age group awards available for eight different categories; those registering after 6/17/26 are welcome to support the cause but won't receive race materials or awards. The family-friendly celebration features activities for everyone and is the perfect way to celebrate together on the Fourth of July!
