Lace up for the 45th annual celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 9 a.m. when runners and walkers of all abilities tackle a scenic one-mile journey down Chester's historic Main Street, starting at Collins Pine (500 Main Street) and finishing at the Bidwell House (1 Main Street). The first 400 participants will score a commemorative t-shirt and post-race refreshments, plus you'll be part of the Almanor Recreation and Park District's biggest fundraising event of the year. Stick around afterward for a Craft Fair at Chester Park (10 a.m.–3 p.m.) and the 4th of July Parade on Main Street at 11 a.m.!
