Head to Colbert, WA on the third Thursday in July for a fun-filled evening celebrating Green Bluff's famous cherries! Run or walk a 4-mile route through scenic orchard country on paved roads, then stick around for the region's biggest free cherry pit-spitting contest (5-6pm), food from local firefighters and the Harvest House, and a free Tot Trot for the littlest runners (ages 5 and under at 6:30pm). The main 4-mile race kicks off at 7pm, with walkers and strollers welcome—just note that dogs aren't permitted.
