Head to Kinsey Park in Peoria, IL for the first installment of the Central Illinois Summer Trail Series, where you'll tackle a 4.16-mile loop with rolling terrain, roughly 240 feet of elevation gain, and some playful Wizard of Oz-themed sections mixed in with plenty of runnable stretches. It's a fantastic way to dip your toes into trail running while meeting folks from the local ultramarathon scene, and bonus—you'll get to scope out the exact same trails that'll be used for the Yellowbrick Backyard Ultra happening right here the next day!
