This youth-friendly triathlon at Hawk Island Park in Lansing welcomes athletes 14 and under with age-appropriate distances—from a 25-meter swim for the youngest participants to a 200-meter swim for older kids, paired with scaled biking and running segments. The entire event takes place within the park's safe swim area where kids can touch bottom with lifeguards on duty, and registration is based on your child's age as of December 31, 2026 (following USA Triathlon rules). Every participant receives a USA Triathlon Youth Annual Membership, race timing, t-shirt, finisher medal, swag bag, photos, and post-race snacks!
