Head to Lansing's 16th Annual Hometown Power 5K on Saturday, August 8th at 9:15 a.m., starting at BWL REO Town Headquarters and taking you through scenic neighborhood streets and the Lansing River Trail on accurately measured pavement. Every participant gets a tech shirt and finisher medal, with awards given to overall top finishers, masters (40+), grandmasters (50+), and age group winners across 18 divisions from 10-and-under to 80-plus. Register before August 5th for $25 ($30 after), pick up your packet Friday, August 7th from 1-5 p.m. or race morning from 7:30-9:00 a.m., and know that all proceeds benefit Pennies for Power to help local families afford their utility bills.
