Get ready for a spooky 5K adventure in Hillsville where Carroll County Special Olympics has decked out the entire route with Halloween decorations and costumed team members cheering you on at every turn—plus, your entry fee goes straight to supporting this amazing local team! The course takes you on a scenic loop around the school and into the wooded trails beyond, so while it's got some challenge to it, runners and walkers of all ages (even 6-year-olds!) are welcome to join the fun. Whether you dress up in costume or come as you are, you'll be supporting a great cause, and if race day doesn't work for you, there's also a Ghostwalk option to participate!
