For over two decades, the African American Male Wellness Agency has been working to tackle health disparities and chronic diseases affecting Black men, conducting more than 10,000 free health screenings annually across 20+ cities nationwide. This Columbus race is part of their grassroots effort to encourage community members to stay active while promoting their wellness message: know your numbers, see your doctor regularly, and keep moving. Beyond physical health, AAMWA supports a holistic approach to well-being that includes mental health, financial wellness, fatherhood, and mentorship for Black men and their families.
