Since 2004, this wellness initiative has grown to include over 16 cities and attracts more than 100,000 participants annually who walk or run to promote healthier lives for Black men and prevent disease. The event features free health screenings for blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, HIV, STD/STI, and prostate cancer, helping participants understand their numbers and encouraging annual doctor visits. Everyone—men, women, and children—can join the 5k and take advantage of the complimentary screenings.
