Join a two-day beginner sailing class on August 8/9 at Fiddler's Cove Marina in San Diego, running from 9 am to 4 pm and open to all eligible MWR patrons and their sponsored guests (minimum age 16 with parental consent). Your registration fee covers instruction, textbooks, and boat rental, with pricing based on military affiliation and rank, and you'll learn in small groups of one to four students per boat to ensure quality instruction. Upon finishing the course, you'll earn a Navy Sailing Qualification Card, though you'll need a valid California Boater Card and/or course completion certificate before your first class.
